Robert Hardy – Research Scientist

Rob has over 25 years of experience in the food industry covering a wide range of functional skills. He has done extensive strategy and go-to-market consulting work for foodservice manufacturers and technology suppliers including: Tyson, Kraft Foodservice, Griffith Laboratories, Instill, I-Many, Rich Products, Tetra Pak, Unilever, Sun Capital, Lincolnshire Management, Einstein’s, McAlister’s Deli, Bay Valley Foods, Campbell Soup and Sara Lee.


Prior to forming Bellwether Food Group, Rob was an associate principal at The Hale Group, a foodservice strategy-consulting firm. Additional industry experience includes work as a Marketing Manager for Opta Food Ingredients, Marketing Manager for the Campbell Foodservice Division of Campbell Soup Co., Senior Research Scientist for Campbell Soup Co, and Senior Research Scientist for the Ragu’ division of Unilever. He has a B.S. in Food Science from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Drexel University.
